Hi folks. Since I’m headed for Central America this semester, I figure its high time I become a blogger. Hopefully I really will stick with this and you can all read about it! So my travels will start on Monday, August 22 when I fly from Austin to Dallas, meet up with Alison, a gal who’ll be down in C.A. on the same program as I’m on, and then head on down to Guatemala City. Then, the next day, I think, all 19 of us (us = Augsburg Center for Global Education students) will be on our way to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, where we’ll live for about a month. To all of my friends who’ll also be abroad this semester: Happy Travels. (That’s Laura Lu, Amber, Annelise, Olaf, Sarah Ann, Stephen, Bethany and Andrew… and Kymn too.) I’ll definitely miss you guys, and everybody back home in Texas. But I know it’ll be a wonderful, crazy rest-of-the-year for all of us.
